Creating A Garden At Our Santa Rosa Women’s Shelter

The Living Room is a shelter in Santa Rosa whose purpose is to ease adversity, promote stability, and support self-reliance for women and children who are without homes, or at-risk of being without homes. When COVID hit and we weren’t able to operate Love to Table in our pop up restaurant, we found them and it was an amazing way to keep making food and sending love into the world.

We started a pilot garden program there 4 weeks ago to bring the soul nourishment of earth to the city landscape. We go every Saturday garden with the shelter
